This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to purchases made via secretsbyamaar.com.au and in our boutiques.
1. Australian Consumer Law
1.1 Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
1.2 You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
1.3 You are also entitled to have Goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
1.4 Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Change of Mind Returns
2.1 We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
2.2 Change of mind includes, but is not limited to:
- (a) selecting the wrong item;
- (b) deciding you no longer want the item;
- (c) finding the item at a different price elsewhere;
- (d) incorrect sizing chosen by the customer.
2.3 This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Manufacturing Faults and Major Failures
3.1 If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible at onlineassist@secretsbyamaar.com.
3.2 We may require photographs, proof of purchase and inspection of the item before determining the appropriate remedy.
3.3 If a fault is confirmed and constitutes a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose between a refund or replacement.
3.4 If the failure is not major, we may choose to repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.
3.5 Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repairs or neglect are not considered manufacturing faults.
4. Custom, Made to Order and Personalised Items
4.1 Custom, made to order, personalised or specially commissioned items are created specifically for you.
4.2 These items are not eligible for change of mind returns.
4.3 This includes custom Ignyte pieces, bespoke designs, engraved items and items altered at your request.
4.4 If a custom item has a confirmed manufacturing fault, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
5. Resized or Altered Items
5.1 Items that have been resized, modified or altered at your request are not eligible for change of mind returns.
5.2 If resizing has been completed incorrectly due to our error, we will rectify the issue at no cost to you.
5.3 Resizing requests made incorrectly by the customer do not qualify for refund.
6. Assessment Process
6.1 Returned items must be assessed before any refund, repair or replacement is approved.
6.2 We will notify you of the outcome once assessment is complete.
6.3 Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method.
